Dr. Osama Basri graduated with honors from King Abdulaziz University College of Dentistry earning him a BDS. Dr. Basri earned his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial orthopedics and a Master in Education and Leadership Degree (M.Ed ) from Jacksonville University Florida, USA.

Later on, Dr. Basri earned a Fellowship in Surgical and Craniofacial and Special care Orthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery, USA.

Dr. Basri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2013 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Orthodontics ( RCDC) since 2012. Dr Basri Lectured in many national and international dental conferences.

Currently, Dr. Basri is the Head of the Cleft and Craniofacial Center and a Consultant in Orthodontics at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center- Jeddah

Furthermore, He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Orthodontic Society in addition to his appointment as Member – Executive exam committee of the Saudi Board of orthodontics at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Dr. Vittorio Cacciafesta received his dental training at the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy.

From July 1995 until August 1996 he was Research Fellow at the Department of Orthodontics, Humboldt-University of Berlin, Germany.

From September 1996 until August 1999 he was Orthodontic Resident at the Department of Orthodontics, Royal Dental College, Aarhus University, Denmark, where he received the Specialty and Master of Science in Orthodontics. He is “Dottore di Ricerca” (Research Doctorate) in Biotechnology of Dental Materials.

From 1999 to 2009 he was Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, University of Pavia, Italy.

From 1999 until 2002 he was Visiting Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, Aarhus University, Denmark, and Visiting Professor at Temple University, Philadelphia, USA.

He is the President of ESLO (European Society of Lingual Orthodontics) for the years 2013-14.

He has published over 100 refereed publications, 2 books and 5 book chapters. He is Co-Editor of “Ortodonzia Clinica”, Associate Editor of “Progress in Orthodontics”, and Referee for the following scientific journals: “American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics”, “Angle Orthodontist”, “European Journal of Orthodontics”, “Journal of Clinical Orthodontics”, “Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research”, “Ortognatodonzia Italiana”.

He was Assistant Secretary of FEO (European Federation of Orthodontics) for the years 2003-2004. He is Active member of SIDO (Società Italiana di Ortodonzia, of which he was Cultural Secretary for the years 2006-07), member of EOS (European Orthodontic Society), Active member of Angle Society (North Atlantic Component), SIBOS (Società Italiana di Biomeccanica e Ortodonzia Segmentata), SIAD (Società Italiana di Arco Dritto), SIOLE (Società Italiana di Ortodonzia Linguale ed Estetica).

His main research interests are bonding materials, brackets, metallurgy, friction between brackets and wires. His main clinical interests are biomechanics, lingual orthodontics, orthodontic treatment of adults. He has been lecturing extensively in Europe, Middle East, Asia and North and South America, Africa.

Dr. Schwarze studied dentistry and orthodontics in Bologna, Cologne and Bonn where he obtained his orthodontic specialization and doctorate degree. Using the Aligner technique since 2001 he is, with more than 3000 treatments, one of Europe’s most experienced practitioners. Apart from his private orthodontic clinics in Cologne, he is in constant scientific exchange with several European Universities, like Bonn, Cologne, Mainz, Düsseldorf and Ferrara/Italy where he was Visiting and later Associate Professor. He gives lectures on an international level and constantly disseminates scientific publications. Dr. Schwarze is a member of various orthodontic associations and co-founder and General Secretary of the German Association of Aligner Orthodontics (DGAO). He was member of the European Clinical Advisory Board, the Clinical Education Council and the Intl. Product Steering Board of Align Technology from day one. He won three awards (1992, 2009, 2013) of the German Orthodontic Society (DGKFO) and received the Align Technology International Research Award in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2019 as well. In 2012 and 2021 he also received the Scientific Award of the DGAO. In 2012 he published his extraction strategy “IPRpe” (Smart Extraction) for the first time. He also developed the Aligner pliers “Gun I”, “Gun II” and “SlotMachine”. Dr. Schwarze founded the Aligner Academy in 2017 and developed the Beneslider pliers “Beneplier A+B” and the “Benepusher” in 2018. Since 2023 he is using Angel Aligner and is member of their Scientific Advisory Board.

She graduated from Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry in 2016 and completed her Orthodontics doctorate at Usak University in 2021. Her aligner journey began with producing in-house aligners. Her interests include dental photography, growth modification in mixed dentition, treatments with TAD’s, aligner therapy in TMJ patients, and both mixed and permanent dentition.She shares her knowledge about Orthero with aligner societies, orthodontic societies, and through independent courses on both international and national platforms. She is eager for innovations in orthodontics and enjoys sharing her knowledge with enthusiastic colleagues. Her private practice is located in Cappadocia, Turkey.

Graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw. In 2011 she graduated with honours from three years studies of Specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara in Italy. The choice of the place of specialization was based not only on the knowledge of Italian language, but also on the importance that Italians attach to the aesthetics, harmony and beauty. At the university clinic she had a 4-year practical training. In 2008 she completed the Invisalign Certification Course as one of the first doctors in Central and Eastern Europe. Additionally, she completed 2 years of Master Invisalign training at the University of Ferrara. Doctor has participated in many courses dedicated to Invisalign treatment, including a conferences in Dubai, Paris, Cologne, Prague and Venice. She is the author of publications in the field of orthodontics, as well as a lecturer at national and international orthodontic conferences. Since 2008 she has been popularizing Invisalign treatment in Poland. She is not afraid of difficult challenges, she successfully applies Invisalign treatment in case of minor and difficult malocclusions requiring significant tooth movements. Since 2016 doctor is official Invisalign lecturer, providing courses for other doctors.

Dr Wilk graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Medical University of Łódź and later pursued doctoral studies at Alma Mater. From the very beginning of his professional career, he has been running a family orthodontic practice, ORTO, in Łódź, Poland. He is one of the co-founders of the Polish Aligner Academy, where he currently serves as treasurer. Inspired by the teachings of Dr. Björn Ludwig, he became passionate about modern methods of digital treatment planning and the in-house fabrication of orthodontic appliances and accessories. In addition to orthodontic training, he also conducts photography workshops for dentists.

Privately, he is an advanced rock climber, a long-standing member of the Łódź Mountaineering Club, and the guitarist for the band “DRUTY.”

Absolwentka Oddziału Stomatologicznego Wydziału Lekarskiego Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego w Krakowie (2005). Od 2006 roku prowadzi prywatną praktykę̨ stomatologiczną w Wadowicach. W 2009 roku, na Śląskim Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Katowicach, uzyskała tytuł doktora nauk medycznych na podstawie pracy badawczej z zakresu stomatologii zachowawczej z endodoncją. Jest specjalistą periodontologiem (Uniwersytecka Klinika Stomatologiczna w Krakowie (2011-2015)). Autorka i współautorka ponad 70 publikacji z zakresu stomatologii zachowawczej, periodontologii oraz nanotechnologii. Jest również współautorem trzech rozdziałów książki „Stomatologia” Medical Tribune 2013. Laureatka konkursów: Global University Case Contest (2005), Espertise Talent Award (2011), Soczewka Focusa (2013) za plaster dla pacjentów po chemioterapii przy zapaleniu błony śluzowej jamy ustnej w kategorii otwartej. W latach 2012-2013 pełniła funkcję Opinion Leader w firmie 3M Poland. Od 2009 r. jest aktywnym członkiem The Japanese Society for Dental Materials and Devices (JSDMD), International Association for Dental Research (IADR) oraz European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). W 2014 ukończyła pełen cykl szkolenia podyplomowego Curriculum in Periodontology organizowane we współpracy z Uniwersytetem w Bern (Szwajcaria). Należy do rady naukowej czasopism: „Asystentka i higienistka stomatologiczna”, „Art of dentistry”, „Sztuka implantologii”. Aktywnie współpracuje z Działem Badawczym Polskiego Towarzystwa Endodontycznego.
